The ongoing Pairing series contains simple, haiku-like calligraphy paintings of the beautiful drinks, glassware or bottles that I encounter in my drinking life or on photographic shoots. They are an attempt to reduce these experiences to naturalistic forms and emotional lines; the perfect messy counterpart to a crisp advertising practice. This new piece features unique, patterned detailing inside the glasses.

NOTE: The paper has a faint ink mark (as photographed) towards the bottom right-hand edge. This will certainly be hidden if matte/window mounted, but will be visible if you choose to float mount the whole piece.

This is an original one-of-a-kind ink study painted on 300gsm heavyweight textured paper and will be wrapped in acid free tissue paper and shipped in a protective cardboard tube/envelope.
