The kaleidoscopic, whirling 9th calligraphic painting in The Yielding To Entropy series, which explores the notion of relinquishing control and accepting chaos as the inevitable state of reality. The precariously stacked glasses reminds us that we can never truly control our universe – and that by giving up the illusion of control a strange kind of balance becomes available in its stead. Each piece is the aftermath of a great party. Taoist metaphor or a gorgeous stack of morning-after dishwashing? Either/or/both.
